How do I know what channel my RF-10 is using?
The receiver channel is set with a slide switch on the bottom of the receiver. Push it all the way to the left for channel one. By default the RF-10 starts on channel one. The RF-10's channel is set by DIP switches located in the battery compartment.

When I press the buttons the LED blinks, but nothing happens.
Make sure that the receiver and mouse are on the same channel. If the green LED on the receiver doesn't blink when you press a button, they may not be on the same channel. The RF-10 has four radio channels. By default, it is set to channel one. The RF-10's channel is set by DIP switches located in the battery compartment. The receiver channel is set with a slide switch on the bottom of the receiver.

I am only getting about ten feet of range.
Position the receiver as high as possible, away from monitor and computer. Stretch out the receiver antenna so it is horizontal and sideways. Avoid configurations that place metal objects between the RF-10 and receiver. If you have another of our products, try switching them with the one that's not working well. That will help you determine if a RF-10 or receiver is not operating properly.

Is it possible to keep using my corded keyboard or mouse with the RF-10?
Yes, you can use a PS/2 to USB adapter so you can plug an extra keyboard and mouse into your computer's USB port.

My RF-10 works great on my desktop, but when I plug it into my notebook computer, it won't work.
On notebook computers, sometimes you need to enable the external keyboard or mouse port. You can turn these on by going into hardware setup before Windows starts. Use a corded keyboard or mouse to verify the keyboard or mouse port is functioning.

Can I use rechargeable batteries with my RF-10?
Yes, but rechargeable batteries will not last as long as alkaline batteries.

Can I use two RF-10s near each other?
Yes. There are four radio channels, so you can have up to four within range of each other.

Can I use a Wireless SurfBoard and Wireless SurfMouse together on the same computer?
Yes, you can use them together. They share the same receiver and radio channels.

Can I use one RF-10 to control two computers?
Yes, what you will need is one complete RF-10 and one extra receiver for the second computer. Set the receiver on the first computer to channel one and the receiver on the second computer to channel three. You can toggle between the two by changing the channel on the RF-10.

Can I use the RF-10 with a Macintosh?
Yes. You'll need a PS/2 to USB adapter.
